The yoke dress is a classic child's dress. The smocking is below a yoke in the front. It is a style that can be worn from infancy to preteen. The yoke style can have many sleeve styles or can be sleeveless. It can be a jumper or pinafore.
The smocking design can be geometric or "pictures".
