McRee Laine

I like to say that my christening gowns are one of a kind. McRee’s gown is made of her grandmother’s wedding gown. The fabric of the original gown was not suited for a baby and had some stains. I used ivory 100% cotton satin batiste in a simple design. Then I cut and appliquéd the lace from the wedding gown to the christening gown. This is a great use of an heirloom that can be passed down to another generation.
